Tania Potapenko is a contemporary figurative artist based in Helsinki, Finland. Her work explores the depths of human nature, capturing the emotional crossroads we all face. Through portraiture, she reveals the silent struggles beneath composed exteriors—telling stories through subtle expressions, body language, and gaze.
Tania primarily works with oils and acrylics but also explores digital art, expanding her creative dialogue beyond traditional techniques. She hopes to one day have more time to further develop her skills in intaglio printmaking and clay sculpture.
Trained in academic art during her adolescence, Tania later pursued an education and a long career in corporate finance before returning to her true passion—painting. She has since refined her artistic voice through private art programs and workshops, and today, her work is exhibited in Finland and held in private collections across Europe and the U.S
